Dating Site Review: True.com
In my opinion,
True.com is one of the worst online dating sites out there. Here are the (not so abundant) pros and (more than plentiful) cons:
Pros- With regard to membership numbers, they are reportedly the largest online dating site, which means there are plenty of girls to choose from.
- This is one of the only dating sites that has a chat room.
- They have a wink function that allows flirting for those of you too lazy or scared to send an actual message.
- A sexual match feature let’s you find the chicks that are wild in bed. This site focuses on sexual chemistry more than most others.
- Girls rate themselves ranging from 'not attractive' to 'stunningly attractive'. You can learn a lot about a girl just by knowing what they think of themselves.
Cons- The price at $49.99 makes this one of the most expensive dating sites online. It is also next to impossible to cancel your membership. You can’t do it online; you have to call customer service and go through the ten minute number pushing game that we all love to play.
- The site sends out random winks on your behalf that you never authorized. These winks are usually sent to the biggest and ugliest girls on the site. I have gotten so many e-mails saying thanks for the wink from wildebeests I would never dream of contacting.
- The unauthorized contact doesn't stop at winks. There is a feature that allows you to send canned emails to someone if you’re too much of a schlop to write your own stuff. I guess this could be considered a pro, but not when the site sends these canned emails to people on your behalf whom you never wanted to contact.
- While this might not be a problem for everyone, occasionally when I sent an e-mail to a girl, the site would send it to the wrong person; a girl whose profile I had been viewing earlier.
- Considering this is the largest online dating site, there sure aren’t too many good looking women in my opinion. It seems like you have to hunt and hunt just to find someone that doesn't repulse you.
- The website is slow and freezes fairly often.
I would recommend avoiding this site, but if you're stubborn and want to go against the great, and flawless word of Gabriel,
give True.com a try. Don't say I didn't warn you though! Please note that True.com only serves the United States and Canada.
