Abhineet is a Principal in AlphaBeta’s Singapore office with a passion in economic development and future solutions, with a focus on policy and societal aspects. Abhineet has experience in the following fields:
Digital Advisory – Developed technology roadmaps, identify potential solutions and business models, and advocate for appropriate policies for companies and government agencies to increase adoption.
Smart Infrastructure development support & Feasibility Assessment – Worked with infrastructure firms and government agencies in Asia-Pacific, Latin America and Africa to assess the feasibility and develop business plans for Smart Infrastructure. These include Special Economic Zones (Russia, Malaysia, Nigeria, Mexico, Botswana, Indonesia), Science Parks (Kenya, Malaysia, South Korea), Ports/ Airports (Singapore, India, Mexico).
Impact Analysis – Conducting a cost-benefit analysis of policies (such as liberalisation policies, toll implementation), industry clusters (such as Tourism Industry, Design Industry) and infrastructure (such as SEZs, ICT Parks, Ports) to aid advocacy efforts. These are based on IO-based model or Difference-in-Difference approach.
Industry Development plans– Develop industry development plans for various industrial sectors. These are for markets such as Singapore (MICE Tourism, Hospitality, Port Services, Design Services), Nepal (Tourism, ICT, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Construction), Eswatini (Sugar Industry), Hong Kong (Submarine Cables, Data Centres).
Abhineet holds a Master’s in Public Policy from The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, focusing on Finance and Strategy.
